Underground is Hong Kong’s longest running series of shows featuring new and original bands. The Underground production team is led by my friend Chris B. Chris asked me to step in as official photographer for Underground 103, held on July 28, 2012 at Hong Kong’s Hard Rock Cafe in Lan Kwai Fong. My job that night was not only to capture the four bands that were playing but to also get shots of audience members holding up an Underground sticker and looking happy. Here are a few of my shots from that evening – I’ve uploaded the entire set to Flickr.
The opening act was Clementine is My Sunshine, a young guy with a very nice voice and an intriguing selection of covers as well as some original songs.
Next on the bill was a lively trio called Kestrels & Kites.
Next on the bill was a group called Ka Likha, a multi-cultural ensemble performing their own world-folk-rock fusion.
The final act of the evening was Brothers of Roadkill, a piano-bass-drums trio that started their set with a slowed down Guns ‘N Roses cover.
Here are a few of my audience photos.
It was a fun night, as the Underground shows always are, and I had a great time shooting this event. You can see more photos from the night over at Flickr. And please keep in mind, I’m available for shooting bands, concerts and club dates and many other types of events.

A great set of photos. There is only one I don’t like, and that’s the one where you’ve take a photo of a lady’s armpit.
Armpits are sexy.
